Synplify(R), Synplify Pro(R), Synplify(R) Premier,
Synplify(R) Premier with Design Planner


About This Release

- NOTE: This release primarily includes support for the Altera Stratix V 
  technology. Download the release only if you are interested in using 
  this new Altera device. However, this is a complete release supporting
  all devices. Note that the release is not an overlay that just supports
  Stratix V devices.
  
- ATTENTION: Please read the INSTALL_README.pdf file located on the 
  SolvNet product download page BEFORE attempting to download any of 
  the Synopsys FPGA synthesis products. This file contains important 
  information regarding requirements for installing and licensing 
  FPGA software products.

- Product licensing for most Synopsys FPGA synthesis products will 
  move to the Synopsys Common Licensing (SCL) software and the Synopsys 
  license daemon (snpslmd). To support Synopsys Common Licensing, you 
  must use the 11.1 or later release of the SCL software and you must 
  obtain license keys from the SmartKeys website. Note that 
  re-installation of existing Synopsys FPGA synthesis products is not
  required when moving to SCL. For more information, see the following:

- Release notes for your Synopsys FPGA synthesis product are available 
  from the SolvNet product download page. This document is no longer 
  accessible from the Help->Online Documents menu. 

- For Windows platforms, the default installation directory is 
  C:\Synopsys (no longer C:\Program Files\Synplicity). Also, the path 
  to the Synopsys software is Start->Programs->Synopsys (no longer 
  Start->Programs->Synplicity).
